Biography

Engr. Anyaoku Onochie Azubike is Currently a Partner (Energy Specialist) at Gulf of Guinea Petroleum Consulting Company Limited, a consulting firm he co-founded in 2009 after retirement from NNPC, which specializes in Project Management, Pipeline Systems, Environment, Safety and Risk Management, Oil and Gas Development Studies, Stakeholder Engagement Management, Technical and Commercial Intermediation.

Engr. Anyaoku is a visionary leader, purposeful and a strategist, a strong team builder, consistently goal-focused, firm with due consultation and uses effective delegation as key leadership tool to achieve results. These leadership qualities propelled him from an Operator/Process Engineer at NNPC Kaduna Refinery to rise through the ranks to become the Group General Manager/Project Driver (Renewable Energy Division –RED and there after the Group Executive Director (GED) Refining and Petrochemicals (R&P) at Corporate Head Quarters a position he retired from in 2009.

He is a B.Sc. (Hons) graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering and a COREN Registered Engineer.

His service to humanity knows no bound. He contributes to the Anambra State Good Governance Forum, Obosi development Union and Anambra ReBirth. He is a former Honorary Adviser on Petroleum to the Governor of Anambra State. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian society of Chemical Engineers Foundation.
